Add a PDF Background

Put a colour behind the content of every page.

How it works

A tinted background can make long documents easier to read on screen and marks a printed copy as distinct from an original. The colour is drawn beneath the existing content, which means the document is rebuilt — pdf-lib draws onto the top of a page, so anything simply added would cover the text rather than sit behind it.

Questions

Will it print?
Yes, and it uses ink. If you only want it on screen, do not use this.
Will it hide my text?
No. It is drawn behind the content.
Can I use my own colour?
Not yet. A small set of pale tints is available.
